The price of eggs decreased

The Association of Layer Poultry Farmers of Nepal has set a new support selling price for eggs. The virtual meeting of the union held on Wednesday decided the new support price to be effective from Thursday.

The new price is lower than before. According to the new price, medium size eggs will cost Rs 330 per crate. According to the association, a large egg costs Rs 375 per crate and the largest egg costs Rs 395 per crate.

Earlier on April 4, the price was increased to Rs 375 per crate of medium eggs, Rs 390 per crate of large eggs and Rs 405 per crate of the largest egg.
